Yoga translated means to yoke, to unite. Yoga unites the mind, body and breath. This makes all the difference. Yoga is not merely stretching. It brings balance back into the body and mind.
Yoga is accessible to everyone, all sizes, ages and fitness levels. It's accessibility is due to the fact that it is available on many levels, from breathing techniques, chanting, asanas or postures to meditation. Any or all of these can be incorporated into your yoga practice. Yoga is an excellent addition to any seasoned athlete's workout regimen or a welcome first step to those just beginning their journey to wellness. It's a necessity to bring balance back into your life and body.
